ARTSFUND


The ARTSFUND Grant Program supports Alameda County nonprofit arts and cultural organizations serving Alameda County community members. Grants will be awarded to qualifying organizations providing arts and cultural programs in the areas of visual art, dance, theater, music, literature, poetry, cultural events and traditions, and other related forms.

Donations

Community members may support the ARTSFUND Grants Program through monetary donations. This support helps provide art programs to over 500,000 children and adults each year. Learn more by visiting the ARTSFUND Donation Page.

ARTSFUND Grant Program Overview

The ARTSFUND provides grant awards for general operating support to Alameda County based arts and cultural nonprofit organizations to assist with the mission and ongoing programs of the grantee organization. The grant funds can be used to support programs, general administration, and operating expenses. The standard ARTSFUND grant award is $2,500.

The 2026 ARTSFUND Grants Program awardees have been determined and are listed in the Current and Past Grant Recipients list below.

The 2027 ARTSFUND Grants Program cycle will accept applications beginning in Nov. 2026. The application submission deadline is Thursday, February 4, 2027 at 5:00pm.

Guidelines Released and Application Open: Nov. 20, 2026. Application Deadline: Feb. 4, 2027, 5:00pm. County Reviews and Approvals: March – June 2027. Distribution of Grant Awards: June 2027. 2027 ARTSFUND Grant Period: July 1, 2027 to June 30, 2029.

Current Grantee Downloads - Arts Commission Logo

Grantees are requested to acknowledge the Alameda County Arts Commission’s ARTSFUND.  In printed materials, on websites, and when announcing information to the public, the grantee shall acknowledge the Arts Commission’s grant award by including the name “Alameda County Arts Commission’s ARTSFUND” within the appropriate list and funding level and/or category. Additionally, when acknowledging your supporters with logos, please add the logo of the Alameda County Arts Commission’s ARTSFUND.
